We rented a Fiat Ducato from Indie Campers and drove from Lisbon down to the Algarve coast. Parked at wild spots every night — zero phone signal at most of them. The Starlink sat on the roof with the magnet mount and we had Netflix every evening. Never even thought about campsite WiFi.

Will it damage my rental van?
No. Our magnetic mount uses soft rubber-padded neodymium magnets that leave zero marks on the roof. No drilling, no adhesive, no risk to your rental deposit. It works on any steel-bodied van — Fiat Ducato, VW Crafter, Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit.
Does it work while driving?
Yes. With the 12V car adapter (included in the van life kit), the Starlink Mini works at speeds up to 160 km/h. Passengers can stream, navigate, and video call on the move. Overpasses cause a split-second blip; tunnels reconnect in seconds.
How much power does it use?
25-40W typical — about the same as a laptop charger. Run it from your van's 12V socket while driving, your leisure battery when parked, or our optional 20K power bank for 2-3 hours off-grid.
Where do I store it in the van?
The Starlink Mini is 29.8 x 25.9 cm — smaller than a laptop. Weighs 1.1 kg. Fits in a door pocket, under a seat, or in any cupboard. The magnetic mount is palm-sized.
Can multiple people connect?
Yes. The Starlink Mini has built-in WiFi with ~100m range. Connect all your phones, laptops, and tablets at the same time.
